Devin shared two videos this weekend, previewing his current projects. You can find these videos at the end of this post, and I must say…I am looking forward to owning this music.
“Here’s a small taste of a ton of stuff I have on the go… all demos for 4 or 5 different projects,” says Devin.
“All of this stuff may get used or get scrapped. No idea yet. Taking it slow and making it perfect. Delegating what goes where and when etc. can be a bit of a brain buster…”
One of the videos is a teaser for his project Casualties Of Cool, which features vocalist Ché Aimee Dorval and drummer Morgan Ågren.
“Busy planning Ziltoid TV pilot episodes… Hopefully 4 or 5 months away, could work, could be a total failure, but going to be epic. Casualties about 80% done and that’ll be the next thing I hope… Really where I’ve been at, and may ostracize many. Fuck it though, right? Then Z2 I hope following on the Ztv stuff, creatively all very exciting. I have no desire to chase commercial acceptance. Thanks for joining! All this subject to change of course…as always…”
He later explained: “Casualties is dark, quiet, stony, and odd. Sort of Johnny Cash in outerspace… Made to create a mood late late at night. Comfortably creepy.”
